How do I find out which municipality my house is in?
Roughly by which side of the lock you live on, and definitively by your postcode. We look it up during the survey and put it in the report, because an application landing at the wrong desk costs weeks and nobody calls to tell you it is in the wrong place.
Is insulation allowed under a protected village view?
Yes. The protection concerns the appearance and not what sits underneath. What can matter is the depth: insulating from outside lifts the roof plane by several centimetres, and in a continuous terrace that shows. Then insulating from inside is usually the route, and that goes into the advice.
Where does the skip go?
